"We are deeply saddened to learn of Robert Sherman’s passing. He and his younger brother, Richard, brought beautiful words and music to the world of Disney, the films and the parks alike. The whole world shares a love for their music and my father loved and respected them both. We offer our respectful sympathies to Robert’s children and grandchildren, and to Richard and his family. Theirs was a long and fruitful collaboration, and we’re all grateful for it."

So sad to see another Disney Legend pass away. Two entertainment legends gone this week, Robert Sherman and Ralph McQuarrie, the Star Wars concept artist. Robert along with his brother,Richard, wrote some of the greatest classical hits for Disney. I don't think anyone has accomplished as much as the two brothers accomplished. Robert is part of a by-gone age. No one writes music like the Sherman's did. Another irreplaceable legend gone. I truly loved his music growing up. The Sherman Brother's music was the standard for Disney movies during the golden age of Disney. Bob will certainly be missed. I pray that his family will be comforted during this sad time.
